noun
1 firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something;
I have a few select people in my life that I trust,
with everything.
My list is so short, I could probably list all of them.
Mom.
Dad.
Matty.
Cindy.
Sarah.
Jaclyn.
Three family members.
An adopted sister.
& the best friends.
I've learned that I used to trust all of the wrong people, and I was always surprised when they disappointed me in the end. I never assumed anyone was lying to me. How naive was that?
I've matured since that,
I know when people lie to me,
and usually, I just let it slide.
"One little white lie, doesn't make a difference."
Or that's what I thought.
But as time goes on, we build relationships on a lie.
and someone always gets hurt in the end.
it's usually me.
