They have it all.
Anything and everything.
I love it.
We listened to a bunch of 33's, 45's and even some 78's.
It was so exciting for me.
I know I'm such a nerd.
hahahaha I had never actually tried to work a turntable before tonight, and now I'm a pro. I love that my parents and I have similar taste in music, otherwise this would've been no fun at all. I learned a lot, and made fun of my brother for not knowing why Wings is connected to The Beatles, and for not knowing who sang P.Y.T, or Hotel California. He isn't a music nerd like the rest of us. Pretty much I'm inheriting the collection, no doubt about it. It was nice going through the legacy, and knowing why I am the way that I am.
My parents and I also talked about our first music pieces ever bought.
My dad bought a Glen Campbell album.
My mom doesn't remember,
^^first sign of old age :)
And I know that I bought The Complete Stevie Wonder on cassette.
I never really understood why, but I will forever be proud of my choice.
I get it now,
I choice Stevie, because of my parents.
They influenced it all.
Tonight was an eyeopener.
and so much fun.
this was all over the place,
i was stokkeeddd when i wrote this.
i guess i still am :)
Rasputin's tomorrow. :D
Hardcore music shopping with the 'rents. :D
always funnnnn.
night<3-k
